A study published in the Journal of Fisheries and Environment evaluated the inclusion of 4.5% spray dried porcine plasma (SDP) in the diet of giant tiger shrimp (Penaeus monodon) under commercial conditions. Even under challenging conditions, the data show that the strategic inclusion of SDP in shrimp diets can reduce bacterial pressure, strengthen immunity and improve feed conversion.
