APC Europe has been selected as a beneficiary of a grant within the framework of the Next Generation EU funds, through the PERTE Agroalimentario. This strategic project by the Spanish government is designed to boost innovation, sustainability, and digitalization in the agri-food sector, supporting R&D initiatives aimed at improving the sector’s competitiveness and efficiency in an eco-friendly manner.
To achieve this milestone, APC Europe has closely collaborated with ARGAL Alimentación, the leader of the CARNITY project, and other companies in the Spanish meat sector, including some of its raw material suppliers. The CARNITY project focuses on the ecological and digital transition of the Spanish meat industry and its associated value chain.
The grant received is specifically allocated to R&D projects that would not have been possible without this financial support. It is particularly noteworthy that APC Europe is among the companies with the highest grant amount and the largest percentage of approved budget within this program.
This recognition not only highlights APC Europe’s leadership but also consolidates its commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, paving the way for effectively promoting the ecological and digital transition within the Spanish meat industry.
